Day - 1

Delhi: Arrival and Political Heart

Your grand Northern India tour commences upon arrival at the airport or railway station. After check-in, we explore the nation's capital. Visit Raj Ghat, the serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, before viewing the impressive architecture of the Parliament and President’s House (from outside). We conclude the day at the majestic India Gate, honoring the nation’s war heroes. (Note: Monument interiors may be inaccessible on certain days.)

Day - 2

Agra: The Immortal Taj Mahal

We journey to Agra, the city synonymous with Mughal romance. After settling into your hotel, prepare for the majestic highlight: the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays). Witness this sublime white marble masterpiece, a true global wonder and testament to eternal love. Conclude the day by exploring the Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone citadel that served as a former seat of Mughal power, before browsing the local markets.

Day - 3

Jaipur: Abandoned Cities and Amber Glory

We depart for the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. En route, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the beautifully preserved red sandstone ghost city built by Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel. We proceed to the commanding Amber Fort and its adjacent hill-top citadel, Jaigarh Fort. The evening culminates with the option to enjoy the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Amber Fort.

Day - 4

Jaipur: Pink City Palaces & Shopping

Today is dedicated to the treasures of the Pink City. Start with a photo opportunity at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Explore the royal complex of the City Palace and the historical astronomical observatory, Jantar Mantar. We visit the beautiful Laxmi Narayan Temple. Conclude the day with an extensive shopping excursion to the famous markets like Jauhari, Bapu, and Nehru Bazaars.

Day - 5

Mandawa: The Open-Air Art Gallery

We journey toward Mandawa in the Shekhawati region, famous for its beautifully painted mansions, or Havelis. Upon arrival, check into your heritage hotel. Mandawa is essentially an open-air art gallery, as almost every building here is adorned with vibrant frescoes depicting mythological scenes, historical events, and everyday life. The rest of the day is at your leisure to soak in the atmosphere of this unique town.

Day - 6

Bikaner: Forts, Palaces, and Research

We depart for the desert city of Bikaner. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. We explore the imposing red sandstone citadel of Junagarh Fort, known for its meticulously preserved courtyards and palaces. Later, visit the magnificent Lalgarh Palace and the unique National Research Centre on Camel, offering fascinating insights into the "ship of the desert."

Day - 7

Jaisalmer: Desert Drive to the Golden City

After an early breakfast, we journey deeper into the Thar Desert to the majestic Jaisalmer. This medieval trading center, distinguished by its yellow sandstone, stands proud atop a hill. After checking into your hotel, the evening is dedicated to watching the sun set over the Cenotaphs (royal memorial grounds), offering a serene and evocative moment of reflection against the golden sky.

Day - 8

Jaisalmer: Sonar Fort & Havelis

Today, explore the architectural wonders of the Golden City. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Fort), a 'living fort' where a quarter of the city's population still resides. Explore the intricate carvings of the Havelis (like Patwon Ki Haveli) and enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Gadisar Lake. The evening is free for shopping and enjoying the desert ambiance.

Day - 9

Jodhpur: Arrival in the Blue City

We drive to Jodhpur, the famous 'Blue City.' Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The afternoon is dedicated to the city's core heritage. Visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most impressive fortresses in India. Below the fort, explore Jaswant Thada, the ethereal white marble memorial, and view the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace from a distance.

Udaipur: Journey to the City of Lakes
