Day - 1

Jodhpur: Arrival in the Land of Kings

Your exploration of Rajasthan begins as we meet you at the Jodhpur airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel. After a brief rest, we explore the surrounding heritage. Visit the captivating Mandore Gardens, where the high rock terraces and ornate cenotaphs (Chhatris) commemorate Jodhpur’s former rulers. We conclude the day at Balsamand Lake, a picturesque ancient reservoir, before briefly exploring the vibrant local markets.

Day - 2

Jodhpur: Blue City Heart & Grand Fort

Today, embrace the spirit of the Blue City. You have the option to join a fascinating Blue City Walking Tour around the historic center, discovering its spiritual temples and ancient wells. In the afternoon, visit the commanding Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest, standing sentinel over the city. Below its ramparts lies the exquisite white marble memorial of Jaswant Thada. We also view the sprawling modern marvel of the Umaid Bhawan Palace. (Optional: Bishnoi Village Safari for a taste of rural life and wildlife.)

Manvar/Sam Dunes: The Desert beckons

After breakfast, we journey into the heart of the Thar Desert toward the majestic dunes of Manvar or Sam. This region offers a stark, beautiful contrast to the cities. Upon arrival, check into your luxurious tented accommodation. Late afternoon is dedicated to a thrilling Desert Safari (inclusive in the Manvar Desert Safari Plan), exploring tribal villages, observing desert wildlife, and culminating in a spectacular sunset over the shifting golden sands. Jaisalmer: Havelis and the Sonar Fort

Explore the architectural wonders of Jaisalmer today. Begin with the stunning Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmalji Ki Haveli, intricate townhouses that showcase the exquisite carving skills of the desert craftsmen. The highlight is the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kila), a sprawling, living citadel that glows golden in the morning light. Explore its alleyways, ornate Jain temples, and the Maharaja's Palace.
