The scenery shifts dramatically today as we descend from the pine forests to the sub-Himalayan belt. We drive toward Jim Corbett National Park, India's oldest wildlife sanctuary. En route, we pause at the stunning Garjiya Devi Temple, uniquely perched on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River; a site radiating immense spiritual energy. After checking into your jungle lodge, freshen up for a guided nature walk along the riverbanks. The air here is different—filled with the calls of exotic birds and the anticipation of the wild.
