Day - 1
Haridwar – The Gateway to God
Arrive at Dehradun Airport and transfer to the holy city of Haridwar, where the River Ganges emerges from the mountains to touch the plains. Begin your spiritual journey with a visit to the Mansa Devi Temple, perched atop Bilwa Parvat. Dedicated to the goddess who fulfills wishes, it offers a bird's-eye view of the city. As dusk falls, proceed to the sacred Har Ki Pauri ghat. Witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a ritual where priests chant Vedic hymns while thousands of oil lamps float down the river, creating a river of light in the darkness.
Day - 2
Rishikesh – The Yoga Capital
Drive a short distance to Rishikesh, a sanctuary for saints and seekers known as the "Yoga Capital of the World." Cross the iconic iron suspension bridges, Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, which sway gently over the emerald waters of the Ganges. Visit Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in the city founded by Adi Shankaracharya. Soak in the town's unique atmosphere, a blend of ashram serenity and bustling markets selling Ayurvedic oils, rudraksha beads, and handicrafts.
Day - 3
Mussoorie – Queen of the Hills
Ascend the winding roads to Mussoorie, a colonial hill station perched at an altitude of 6,500 feet. Known as the "Queen of Hills," it offers commanding views of the Doon Valley below and the Himalayan peaks above. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening strolling along the famous Mall Road, a relic of the British Raj lined with colonial architecture, cozy cafes, and shops selling wooden artifacts.
Day - 4
Mussoorie – Cascades & Viewpoints
Embark on a full-day sightseeing tour. Visit the majestic Kempty Falls, where water cascades from a height of 40 feet into a refreshing pool. Take a cable car ride to Gun Hill, the second-highest peak in Mussoorie, for sweeping 360-degree views. Explore Lal Tibba, the highest point in the area, offering telescope views of the snow-clad Bandarpunch and Kedarnath peaks. Trek to Bhadraj Temple, dedicated to Lord Bal Bhadra, for a spiritual experience amidst nature.
Day - 5
Kanatal – Jungle Trails & Tehri Dam
Transfer to Kanatal, a hidden jewel in the Tehri Garhwal district known for its untouched beauty. Explore the Kodia Jungle, a dense forest trail perfect for nature walks and spotting wildlife like musk deer, barking deer, and wild boars. Visit the colossal Tehri Dam, one of the highest dams in the world, which holds back the massive emerald green Tehri Lake. Conclude with a visit to the Surkanda Devi Temple, located on a hill peak, which requires a short trek and rewards you with ethereal views of the mist-covered valleys.
Day - 6
Departure – Descent to Dehradun
After a serene morning in the hills, check out and begin your descent back to Dehradun. Enjoy the scenic drive through pine forests and mountain curves one last time. Transfer to Dehradun Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the blessings of the Ganges and the tranquility of the Garhwal Himalayas.
