Your trip in a nutshell
Itinerary
Day - 1
Cochin
Arrive in Cochin, the vibrant gateway to Kerala, where colonial history meets coastal charm. Wander through Fort Cochin, visit the historic Dutch Palace, and watch the iconic Chinese fishing nets in action along the shore — a centuries-old fishing tradition unique to this coastline.
Day - 2
Cochin to Munnar
Journey into the hills to Munnar, once a beloved summer retreat for the British and now one of Kerala's most cherished hill stations. Take in sweeping views of the Cardamom Hills and rolling tea plantations as you settle in for an evening of mountain calm.
Day - 3
Munnar
Spend the day exploring Munnar's natural wonders — from the scenic Mattupetty Dam to the wildlife-rich Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr. Take in panoramic views at Echo Point and Kundala Lake, then wander through fragrant tea gardens that have shaped this region's identity for generations.
Day - 4
Munnar to Alleppey
Check into a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat and drift along Alleppey's legendary backwaters, gliding past emerald paddy fields in the famed "rice bowl of Kerala." With meals served right on board, this is Kerala's signature experience — slow, scenic, and utterly relaxing.
Day - 5
Alleppey to Kumarakom
Continue to Kumarakom, often called the "Venice of the East," a cluster of island villages scattered across the shimmering Vembanad Lake. As evening falls, glide across the water on a peaceful sunset cruise, watching the sky turn gold over the lake.
Day - 6
Kumarakom
Explore the renowned Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for migratory species like the Siberian crane, kingfisher, and heron set across lush wetlands. Spend the afternoon unwinding with Kerala's signature Ayurvedic therapies, designed to restore balance to body and mind.
Day - 7
Departure from Kumarakom
Transfer to Cochin for your onward flight home, carrying with you the lush memories of God's Own Country.
