Day - 1
Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive in Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel or traditional houseboat. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. You may take a gentle walk nearby or simply unwind while enjoying views of the mountains and serene waters.
Day - 2
Excursion to Sonmarg
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The drive itself is scenic, passing through the picturesque Sind Valley framed by dense forests and towering mountain peaks. Sonmarg is renowned for its breathtaking alpine beauty and serves as a gateway to several trekking routes. Visit Thajiwas Glacier, where snow can be seen for most of the year, and admire the pristine natural landscape shaped over centuries by powerful rivers and glacial activity. In the late afternoon, return to Srinagar.
Day - 3
Srinagar to Gulmarg
Today drive to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most beautiful hill resorts. Surrounded by rolling green meadows and snow-clad peaks, Gulmarg is often described as a charming mountain village. Once a favored retreat during the British era, it still retains an old-world charm. The region is home to one of the highest golf courses in the world and transforms into a popular ski destination during winter. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day - 4
Gulmarg
After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure in Gulmarg. You may opt for the famous Gondola ride, one of the highest cable car experiences in Asia, offering panoramic views of snow-covered slopes and surrounding peaks. Spend the afternoon exploring on foot, enjoying a pony ride, or visiting nearby Khilanmarg, a scenic meadow known for its colorful landscape and sweeping views.
Day - 5
Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After breakfast, drive towards Pahalgam, passing through scenic countryside dotted with saffron fields and apple orchards. Pahalgam, meaning “Valley of Shepherds,” is set along the Lidder River and surrounded by lush forests and majestic mountains. It serves as the base for several trekking routes and the annual pilgrimage to the Holy Amarnath Cave. Upon arrival, check in and relax amidst the peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, you may visit Baisaran Valley, a vast meadow often referred to as “Mini Switzerland,” offering spectacular views. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day - 6
Pahalgam
Today explore the stunning natural landscapes around Pahalgam. Visit Aru Valley, admired for its expansive meadows and tranquil setting. Continue to Betab Valley, surrounded by lush greenery and snow-covered peaks. Proceed to Chandanwari, the starting point of the sacred Amarnath Yatra, known for its dramatic mountain scenery. Return to Pahalgam and spend the evening at leisure, perhaps exploring the local market. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day - 7
Pahalgam to Srinagar
After breakfast, return to Srinagar and begin your local sightseeing tour. Visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple, offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. Continue to the magnificent Mughal Gardens including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Cheshma Shahi, each beautifully designed with terraced lawns, fountains, and vibrant flowerbeds against the Himalayan backdrop. Also visit the revered Hazratbal Mosque. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Shikara ride on Dal Lake, cruising through floating gardens, lotus blooms, narrow canals, and traditional houseboats. You may also visit local handicraft centers known for papier-mâché and intricate wood carvings. Overnight in Srinagar (Houseboat).
Day - 8
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking back unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s valleys, meadows, lakes, and timeless beauty.
