Itinerary

Day - 1

Welcome to Ahmedabad

Arrive in Ahmedabad, one of India's most vibrant and historically rich cities. After check-in, visit the magnificent Akshardham Temple — one of the largest temple complexes in Gujarat, built by the BAPS organisation and a stunning tribute to India's cultural and spiritual heritage. Continue to the Vaishno Devi Temple before returning to the hotel for a restful overnight stay

Day - 2

Ahmedabad to Gandhidham

Day 2 — Ahmedabad to Gandhidham After breakfast, set off on a six-hour drive west towards Gandhidham — the financial capital of the Kutch district and your gateway to the wild landscapes ahead. Check into your hotel and spend a leisurely evening exploring the town at your own pace

Day - 3

The White Rann of Kutch

Drive to Hodka and check into your desert accommodation on the edge of the legendary White Rann. Spend the afternoon at leisure in this hauntingly beautiful landscape — a vast salt marshland stretching across 30,000 sq. km, widely regarded as the largest salt desert in the world. As evening falls, enjoy Hi-Tea on the glittering white flats and browse local crafts or try a desert adventure activity under the open sky

Day - 4

Sunrise & the Black Hills

Wake before dawn for a sunrise over the White Rann that will stay with you forever. After breakfast, explore the salt flats at your own pace and capture the landscape in the soft morning light. In the afternoon, drive to Kalo Dungar — the highest point in Kutch at 462 metres — for a sweeping panoramic view of the Great Rann stretching towards the Pakistan border. Visit the 400-year-old Dattatreya Temple and experience the magnetic hill illusion, where vehicles appear to roll uphill. Stay for the sunset.

Day - 5

Royal Bhuj

Check out from the Rann and drive to Bhuj — the heart of Kutchi culture and heritage. Visit the ornate Swaminarayan Temple, the dazzling mirror-tiled Aina Mahal, the grand Indo-Gothic Prag Mahal, and the royal Chatardi cenotaphs. In the evening, experience the Vande Bharat Memorial — India's first 4D independence memorial — spread across 12 acres with life-like immersive technology, a replica India Gate, and the Hiralaxmi Craft Park showcasing the finest artisans from across Kutch

Day - 6

Into the Little Rann

A long but rewarding drive brings you to Dasada, nestled on the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch. Check into your wildlife resort and head out on an afternoon jeep safari through the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary — home to the endangered Asiatic wild ass, flamingos, blue bulls, blackbucks, and a rich variety of birdlife. Return to the resort for a quiet evening surrounded by nature.

Day - 7

Wildlife Safaris & Ahmedabad

An early morning safari brings the best of the sanctuary to life — Indian wolves, desert foxes, chinkara, jackals, hyenas, and spectacular flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and cranes. After a wildlife-filled morning, drive back to Ahmedabad and check in. Spend the evening exploring the famous Sidi Saiyyed Mosque — renowned for its intricately carved stone lattice windows — and browse the colourful stalls of Law Garden market for Gujarati handicrafts and textiles.

Day - 8

Farewell, Gujarat

After a final breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport or railway station. End of services — and the beginning of lasting memories of Gujarat's salt deserts, ancient temples, wild grasslands, and warm, welcoming people
