Itinerary

Day - 1

Ahmedabad to Gandhidham

Your Gujarat adventure begins with a scenic six-hour drive from Ahmedabad to Gandhidham — the bustling financial capital of the Kutch region. Check into your hotel and spend a relaxed evening unwinding before the journey ahead truly begins.

Day - 2

Into the White Rann

After breakfast, drive to Hodka and check into your desert accommodation. Spend the afternoon at leisure in one of the world's most surreal landscapes — the White Rann of Kutch, a vast expanse of blindingly white salt marshland stretching across 30,000 sq. km on the edge of the Thar Desert. As the sun dips low, enjoy Hi-Tea on the salt flats and browse local handicrafts or try a desert adventure activity

Day - 3

Sunrise, Black Hills & the Border

Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise over the White Rann — a sight unlike anything else in India. After breakfast, spend the morning wandering the salt flats and capturing photographs in the soft morning light. In the afternoon, drive to Kalo Dungar — the highest point in Kutch at 462 metres — where a sweeping panoramic view of the Great Rann stretches all the way to the Pakistan border. Visit the ancient 400-year-old Dattatreya Temple and experience the famous magnetic hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity. Stay for the sunset.

Day - 4

Bhuj -Heritage, Craft & Independence

Check out from the Rann and drive to Bhuj, the cultural capital of Kutch. Visit the ornate Bhuj Swaminarayan Temple, the mirrored halls of Aina Mahal, the grand Prag Mahal palace, and the royal cenotaphs of Chatardi. In the evening, step into the Vande Bharat Memorial — India's first 4D independence experience — spread across 12 acres with a replica India Gate, Parliament Building, and the Hiralaxmi Craft Park, where Kutchi artisans display and sell their work.

Day - 5

Into the Little Rann

After breakfast, drive to Dasada on the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch — home to the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary, one of the last refuges of the endangered Asiatic wild ass. Check into your wildlife resort and head out on an afternoon safari, scanning the golden grasslands for wild asses, blue bulls, blackbucks, and flamingos. Return to the resort for a peaceful evening under the stars.

Day - 6

Safari at Dawn & Farewell

One final morning in the wild. Enter the sanctuary at sunrise for the best wildlife viewing — spot Indian wolves, desert foxes, jackals, chinkara, hyenas, and a spectacular variety of birds including pelicans, cranes, and storks. After a memorable morning, begin the drive back to Ahmedabad, carrying with you the landscapes, wildlife, and warmth of Kutch
