Day - 1

Arrival in Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport, one of the most scenic mountain airports in the world. After meeting your local representative, proceed by road to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. The drive follows the Paro and Thimphu rivers through pristine valleys dotted with traditional farmhouses and monasteries. Upon arrival, check in and spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the calm Himalayan atmosphere. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day - 2

Thimphu

Today explore the cultural and spiritual highlights of Thimphu. Begin at Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower) for sweeping views of the valley. Continue to Buddha Dordenma (Kuensel Phodong), a massive golden Buddha statue overlooking the city. Visit the Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students learn Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts. Explore the Textile Museum to understand Bhutan’s intricate weaving traditions, and stop at local handicraft centers showcasing authentic Bhutanese craftsmanship. Conclude with visits to Zangthopelri Lhakhang and the interactive Simply Bhutan Museum, offering insight into Bhutanese lifestyle and traditions. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day - 4

Excursion to Gangtey

Today embark on a scenic excursion to Gangtey and Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan’s most picturesque glacial valleys. Visit the serene Gangtey Goempa Monastery, perched atop a hill overlooking the valley. Stop at the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre, where you can learn about the endangered cranes that migrate here during winter. The wide-open valley, surrounded by forested hills, offers some of Bhutan’s most breathtaking landscapes. Return to Punakha / Wangdue for overnight stay.

Day - 5

Punakha to Paro

Drive to Punakha via the stunning Dochu La pass (3,080m), offering majestic views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong and walk across the famous Suspension Bridge. Optional white water rafting is available on the Punakha River for adventure seekers.

Day - 6

Paro Sightseeing

Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), showcasing Bhutan’s history and heritage. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, a stunning fortress-monastery known for its impressive architecture and riverfront setting. Explore Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, and enjoy panoramic views of Paro Valley from a designated viewpoint. Overnight in Paro.

Day - 7

Excursion to Haa Valley

After breakfast, drive to the serene Haa Valley via Chele La Pass (3,988 m), one of Bhutan’s highest motorable passes offering spectacular views of the Himalayan range. In Haa Valley, visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), both deeply rooted in Bhutanese legend and history. Enjoy the peaceful, less-explored landscapes before returning to Paro. Overnight in Paro.

Day - 8

Departure from Paro

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s monasteries, mountain passes, and timeless culture.
