Itinerary

Day - 1

Tokyo Arrival: Imperial Views and Shibuya Scramble

We touch down at Haneda Airport and dive straight into the capital's pulse. We orient ourselves with a drive past the political heart—the National Diet Building and the serene Imperial Palace grounds near Nijubashi Bridge. We pause for a photo at the red-brick facade of Tokyo Station, the city's transport nerve center. The energy peaks at Shibuya Crossing, where we witness the organized chaos of the world's busiest pedestrian intersection before checking into our hotel.

Day - 2

Tokyo Contrasts: Ancient Temples and Digital Art

We start at Asakusa Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist site, marked by the massive red lantern of the Kaminarimon Gate. Shifting from tradition to future, we immerse ourselves in TeamLab Planets, wading through water and digital flowers in a sensory art experience. We drive across the iconic Rainbow Bridge, catching views of the futuristic Odaiba island, before spending the evening in Ginza. Here, we explore the city’s premier district for upscale dining, high-end boutiques, and vibrant nightlife.

Day - 3

Hiroshima Journey: Reflections on Peace

We board the high-speed Bullet Train for a poignant day trip to Hiroshima. Standing at the hypocenter of history, we visit the Peace Memorial Park and the haunting skeletal remains of the Atomic Bomb Dome. The experience deepens at the Peace Memorial Museum, which documents the city's tragedy and resilience following World War II. After paying our respects, we return by rail to the Kansai region, checking into our hotel in Osaka or Kyoto for the night.

Day - 4

Kyoto Classics: Golden Pavilions and Bamboo Paths

We explore the cultural heart of Japan, starting with the shimmering reflection of Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion. We then stroll through the towering green stalks of the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, a place of natural serenity. The day concludes at Fushimi Inari Taisha, where we hike through the iconic tunnel of thousands of vermilion torii gates winding up the sacred mountain. We return to the hotel after a full day of heritage.

Day - 5

Nara Giants and Osaka's Past

We travel to Nara to visit Todaiji Temple, a UNESCO site housing the world's largest bronze Daibutsu (Buddha). After greeting the free-roaming deer in the temple park, we return to Osaka. Here, we step back in time at the Osaka Municipal Housing Museum. We walk through a faithful life-sized recreation of an Osaka town from the 1830s Edo period, experiencing the atmosphere of merchants and townspeople before heading to dinner.

Day - 6

Osaka Energy: Castles, Noodles, and Neon

We admire the majestic stone walls and architecture of Osaka Castle from the outside, a symbol of Japan's unification. Next, we explore global dietary culture at the Cup Noodles Museum, tracing the history of instant ramen through 800 colorful packages. The day ends in the electric district of Dotonbori, famous for its dazzling neon billboards, giant crab signs, and abundant street food stalls along the canal.

Day - 7

Nagoya Bounds: Magnetic Speed and Floral Lights

We leave Osaka for Nagoya to visit the SC Maglev Park. This museum showcases the evolution of Japanese rail, featuring 39 full-scale vehicles and simulators of the magnetic levitation trains of the future. In the evening, we witness the spectacular illuminations and seasonal blooms at Nabana no Sato, one of Japan’s finest flower parks. We then check into our Nagoya hotel for the night.

Day - 8

Hakone Highlands: Volcanic Valleys and Ropeways

We travel to the Hakone region, a gateway to Mt. Fuji’s foothills. We cruise the calm waters of Lake Ashi, formed in an ancient volcanic caldera, before boarding the Hakone Ropeway. This aerial ride offers breathtaking views over the active sulfuric vents of the Owakudani Valley. After soaking in the dramatic natural scenery, we transfer back to the Tokyo/Yokohama area for our overnight stay.

Day - 9

Tokyo Heights: Origami Art and City Views

We engage with traditional arts at the Origami Museum, viewing delicate paper masterpieces and learning the craft. We then stroll through the scenic Chidorigafuchi Park, a famous spot for cherry blossoms and moat views. Our perspective shifts upwards at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, where the observation decks offer panoramic vistas of the sprawling metropolis. We spend the rest of the time exploring the neon-lit excitement of the Shinjuku district before our final dinner.

Day - 10

Tokyo Departure: Journey Home

We enjoy a final breakfast and check out of the hotel. A professional transfer takes you to the airport for your return flight, bringing your comprehensive journey through Japan to a close.
