Your trip in a nutshell
Itinerary
Day - 1
Corbett: Into the Wilderness
Your adventure begins as we greet you at the station or airport and whisk you away to the foothills of the Himalayas. We head toward India’s first national park, established in 1936, a legendary landscape where the Kosi River flows past sal forests and marshy depressions. This is the fabled domain of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Upon arrival, settle into your jungle lodge before embarking on a guided nature walk along the riverbanks. Known as a birdwatcher's paradise, the area offers a peaceful introduction to the wild, setting the perfect tone for the thrill that awaits.
Day - 2
Corbett: Tracking the Stripes
Dedicate your day to the rhythm of the jungle. You have the option to embark on morning and afternoon safaris, traversing the park’s distinct zones in an open 4x4 Jeep. As you navigate the grasslands, keep your camera ready for elusive tigers, herds of wild elephants, and spotted deer. Whether you explore the popular Bijrani zone or the deep woods of Dhikala, the raw beauty of the wilderness is captivating. The sounds of the forest and the anticipation of a sighting make this an unforgettable encounter with nature.
Day - 3
Haridwar: The Gateway to God
Leave the wild behind and journey to Haridwar, one of the seven holiest cities in India, situated where the Ganges meets the plains. After checking in, prepare for a soul-stirring evening at the ancient Har Ki Pauri ghat. Here, you will witness the world-renowned Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ritual of fire and faith. As priests chant Vedic mantras and temple bells chime in unison, thousands of floating oil lamps illuminate the dark river, creating a moving golden spectacle that resonates with deep spiritual energy.
Day - 4
Rishikesh: The Yoga Capital
A short, scenic drive brings you to Rishikesh, the global "Yoga Capital" nestled amidst lush green mountains. Unlike the bustle of Haridwar, this town offers a tranquil atmosphere. Spend your day exploring iconic suspension bridges like Laxman Jhula or visiting historic ashrams that line the riverbanks. You might opt for a peaceful boat ride across the emerald waters of the Ganges or simply wander the vibrant local markets. It is a day to rejuvenate your mind and soak in the serenity of this Himalayan sanctuary before your trip concludes.
Day - 5
Departure: Memories of the Hills
After a final breakfast amidst the hills, we conclude this diverse journey of wildlife and spirituality. Our representative will drive you to the nearest airport or railway station for your onward connection. You depart carrying the blessings of the Ganges and the thrill of the tiger's domain with you.
