Day - 1
Rishikesh – The Yoga Capital & Iconic Bridges
Arrive at Dehradun Airport and transfer to Rishikesh, the celebrated "Yoga Capital of the World," where the turquoise Ganges flows out of the Himalayas. After checking in, visit the ancient Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in the city. Later, walk across the iconic Ram Jhula, a suspended iron bridge that sways gently over the river, connecting the bustling ashrams of Swargashram and Sivananda. Explore the nearby ghats, perhaps visiting the famous Beatles Ashram, and soak in the spiritual energy of the evening atmosphere.
Day - 2
Shivpuri – White Water Rafting & Rapids
Embark on a short drive to Shivpuri, the premier hub for river adventure located 19 km upstream. This stretch of the Ganges is world-renowned for its thrilling Grade III and IV rapids. Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping White Water Rafting session, navigating through the roaring waters under the guidance of expert instructors. The experience often includes Cliff Jumping into the icy waters and Body Surfing. Return to Rishikesh in the evening to relax by the riverside.
Day - 3
Rishikesh – Extreme Adrenaline & Aerial Views
Dedicate today to conquering your fears with extreme sports (activities on direct payment basis). Choose from India's highest Bungee Jump, feel the rush of the Giant Swing, or soar across the valley on the Flying Fox. For those seeking a different pace, Kayaking and Paragliding offer unique perspectives of the Shivalik hills and the meandering river below. This is a day to immerse yourself fully in the adventure capital of India before returning to the comfort of your hotel.
Day - 4
Haridwar – Ancient Temples & The River of Light
Take a day excursion to the ancient city of Haridwar, one of the seven holiest places in India. Ride the "Udan Khatola" (ropeway) to the Mansa Devi Temple atop Bilwa Parvat to seek blessings from the wish-fulfilling goddess. In the evening, proceed to the sacred Har Ki Pauri ghat, where it is believed the Ganges leaves the mountains to enter the plains. Witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a sensory spectacle of fire, chanting, and thousands of floating diyas (lamps) illuminating the dark waters. Return to Rishikesh for the night.
Day - 5
Departure – Homeward Bound
After a serene morning amidst the foothills, check out from your hotel. Transfer to Dehradun Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the dual memories of pulse-pounding adventure in Shivpuri and the timeless spiritual tranquility of the Ganges.
